Counter-terrorism officials around the United States have convened secure conference calls to try to gather information and to assess whether there is any indication of threats in the U.S.

A shooting and bombing has also being reported at the Les Halles shopping mall in central Paris.

At least one gunman opened fire with an automatic gun at the Cambodge restaurant in the 11th district of the French capital.
There were also shooting attacks near the Bataclan arts center.
Three explosions is also reported to have targeted a bar near Stade de France, where France was hosting the German soccer team.
The paper quoted a TV station as reporting a dismembered corpse had been found in the stadium. Other reports said the attack included shootings and a suicide attack.
Le Figaro also reported that the attackers have taken some hostages.

One of the police officials said 11 people were killed in a Paris restaurant while at least 15 others were killed in the Bataclan theater.
According to BFMTV, one of the gunmen shouted: "It's for Syria" at Bataclan and Allahu Akbar.
