The truth about this is that most death certificates will list more than one cause of death such as heart failure or lung problems in connection with the virus. It doesn't mean that the virus wasn't the cause of death.
182,622 is a real number of real people who really died from the virus in the USA, and that's probably actually lower than the real number since some people died without being tested for the virus.
