We know Christ Jesus died on Passover which is the
14th of the month. We know He was put into a tomb and rose 3 days and 3 nights
later. Regardless of that day that was, we were NEVER told to observe an annual
day of celebration for the Resurrection. But if we had been told to do such, we
clearly would had been told to do so on the 17th day of the first month every
year. All Bible observances (except weekly sabbath) are done per the number of
the day of the month. Historical events are always observed per the date. Not
per the day of the week it occured. The observance of the so called Resurrection
Sunday (even thou He rose on Saturaday) cannot be separated from the pagan
observance of Easter. They cannot be separated. They are the one and the same
pagan observance. It has nothing to do with The Resurrection of Jesus. Easter
Sunday (i.e. resurrection sunday) is worship of SUNday and of queen easter, the
Assyrian goddess of fertility. Observance of Easter (resurrection sunday) is
commanded by the Roman Catholic church. While Passover (the 14th day of the
month by God's calendar, not the Roman calendar) is commanded by Jesus Himself
which we are to observe with foot washing and communion with bread and wine/or
juice. While billions of worldly people will observe the queen easter sunday, i
choose to follow Jesus' instruction of Passover.
Passover this year is April 13, 2014 which just happens to fall on a sunday this year, but can fall on any day of the week, varying each year.
