Galatians 1:13 (NASB) "For you have heard of my former manner of life in Judaism, how I used to persecute the church of God beyond measure and tried to destroy it
:14 and I was advancing in Judaism beyond many of my contemporaries among my countrymen, being more extremely zealous for my ancestral traditions".
Here Paul testifies that in Judaism, (Hebrew roots), He was persecuting and trying to destroy the Church (Ekklesia) of GOD. The Greek word in Gal.1:13-14 is Ioudaismos. You can see the I letter, called the Jot in Matt.5:18 KJV. It is the same first letter of Jesus. Strong's concordance says Ioudaismos starts with the E sound. They are wrong. It should have the J sound because it is followed by the vowel o. The o and u is together as one sound. IOU is Ju. Ju daism. So, NASB translates it correctly. Amazing!
