Verse 28 until the end of Isa.10 shows that the Assyrian will come from the north. It lists the names of ancient towns starting from the farthest north, leading down to Israel. Most bible scholars claim that this is talking about the Assyrian invasion of the House of Israel around 701 B.C. However, in that historical event, the facts declare that the Assyrian did NOT come from the north, and that the path described was NOT the path of the Assyrian invasion! History shows that it actually came from the southwest! Therefore the Isaiah 10 -11 prophecy has NOT yet been fulfilled. When we get into chapter 11, we see that it describes the birth and life of Jesus. Then it speaks about His 2nd Coming to destroy this same Assyrian by the breath of His Mouth. We see the SAME event in 2 Thes.2:8 and Isa.30:30-31. There can be NO doubt that 2 Thes.2:8 is quoting from Isa.11:4 and 30:30-31! Jesus will come to destroy the end time Assyrian son of perdition by the Brightness of His Coming AND by The Breathe of His Mouth!
The Andy Griffith Show:
Most of us were raised to watch the Andy Griffith show. It seemed to promote righteousness and family values. What could be wrong with such an innocent show?
Well, first of all, it’s a product of Hollywood. And when we support one Hollywood production, we support them all. The shows/movies are made on lots & in studios where many other shows/movies are also filmed. The studio could be used for Andy Griffith the one day, then the very next day perhaps even a satanic horror movie, or perhaps a movie promoting homosexuality. The directors, producers, writers and other staff also go on to make other shows. It’s all connected. We cannot say that we support just one show, and not support them all. We cannot say that one piece of Hollywood is not evil, but the rest is. It’s evil. Period.
Ron Howard (Opie) grew up to be a very outspoken Demoncrat. And Andy Griffith also was a very outspoken Demoncrat. They both donated money to help elect Obama. In fact, they made a political video together to help Obama be elected. Their efforts were said to help Obama win the North Carolina vote, the first time that NC went Demoncrat!
Ron Howard also directed the movie “The Da Vinci Code” which taught that Jesus married Mary Magdalene. He also played in a horror movie. He also produced the life story of Katy Perry, a very satanic woman.
Are we going to ignore all of these facts and continue to hold little opie and Andy Griffith as idols in our heart? Will we continue to worship these people as hero’s and bow down to Hollywood? Will we continue to watch these graven images? Will be continue to compromise with liberal Hollywood? Will we stay in Rebellion to the 2nd Commandment, Thy shall not make any image?
Jesus is revealing these things and purifying His Church. Come under His Cleansing Blood Today! Cast these idols out of your heart!
