Ephesians 5:5-17
:11 Not only not partake in their wicked works, but also expose them.
This includes Halloween, false doctrines, liberal politics, immaturity, legalism, not putting God first, etc.
But before you can "expose" or rebuke anyone, you must first learn correct doctrine, because most "Christians" are full and overflowing with wrong doctrine based upon traditional legalism and traditional religion.
So it's not good to be exposing and rebuking before baptism in truth, nor during your first few months after baptism in truth, while you are still learning a lot!
2 Timothy 4:1-5
The Apostle Paul told Pastor Timothy to rebuke people.
It's mostly the job of the church administration, male leadership to rebuke people.
But also each person is responsible for telling their own families and friends the truth, and when necessary, to rebuke them.
But it is the church leadership who is responsible for telling strangers, evangelizing to the world.
Rebuking isn't fun or enjoyable for either side, the church leadership or the church membership, or for any of the new people. But correction and rebuke is a necessary thing.
Longsuffering, gentleness has its place & time. But there's also a time for harsh rebuke and harsh criticism.
Soft, gentle counseling is not always the best approach.
People must be tested by God through the church leadership.
It must be determined who is really, truly committed to the truth and to God and to the church; and who is not.
Isaiah 58:1
"Cry" = "shout"
Blow the trumpet, spare not. Sound the alarm, tell my people their sins.
Church members don't like being told their sins, or to be confronted with their own sins. But it's important for the leadership to point out sin to help those people come to realize their faults, so that they can change, and repent and improve.
If I don't hold/put people to a high degree of accountability, who will?
Another topic/subject that I spoke about in this sermon, unplanned, but moved by The Holy Ghost:
Not every person is called to teach or to be a leader.
There's many different spiritual gifts of The Holy Ghost. Not every person has the same gifts, skills or callings. Even if a person has a skill, doesn't automatically mean that they are called for it.
And even if a person is called for leadership or teaching, they must first humble themselves and keep quite and learn. A spiritual master can't be a master until he has learned to be a slave. A leader can't lead until he has learned to serve. I spent my time in the rear seats of the churches and kept my mouth shut even when I already knew much more than the pastors. Yet I still learned.
Respect should be given to the elders of the true church.
Too many people want to be leaders and teachers when they are not truly called for such. As the old phrase/saying/proverb says "Too many chiefs, not enough Indians".
If a person is not called to teach or to lead, or even if they are called for such, but are early in their calling and learning, then the best method to witnessing is simply only sharing the ministry links and ministry fliers/tracts. Not teaching, but rather only sharing. This is the best way also for wives and women. Just share links and tracts/fliers and articles. Don't teach if you are not called to teach. Not teach yet if called, until you grow enough and learn enough and mature enough. There's exceptions, but this is generally how it should be.
I also was told several times in my life, from older, wise people, that old people have the right to complain and to be grumpy. They were correct!
My age has correctly made me less patient, as I can't tolerate the bull crap as much as I could when I was younger.
There should be a limit to patience. There is definitely a limit to God's patience. There's a time for long suffering with much patience. But also a time to immediately, and harshly rebuke.
I'm not a young dude anymore. I've been to "hell" and back many times. I have much experience. I know what I am doing.
As an apostle and prophet of God, not just a pastor, I have even more duty to exercise harsh criticism and rebuke, more so than other pastors and other Christians, because of my calling.
Again, people must be tested by God through the church leadership.
It must be determined who is really, truly committed to the truth and to God and to the church; and who is not.
Reminder: Worship services Wednesday Oct. 26 at 11 a.m. Eastern Time Zone for the 1st day of the 8th biblical month.
Reminder: Please fast at some time on or/and before Halloween.
We are fasting for Jesus to please make a way of escape for someone who would be in danger of being/becoming a victim of Halloween occult sacrifice or torture.
Also for our families/friends to come to the realization of how demonic Halloween is and stop compromising.
If there ever was a time for harsh rebuke from the membership, not just only from pastors and leaders, but also from the congregation themselves, to family and friends, it's now at Halloween time. We must make a very solid, firm stand against such extreme wickedness that we see in the devil's day.
