The Fiesta/Feast of Tabernacles Is Coming Up Now Very Soon!
Jesus commands us to build temporary shelters and live in them for the entire fiesta. Today, our temporary booths are tents.
Going to a campground with our brothers and sisters for an entire week is very edifying and helpful in many ways. It's a time when we can practice our survival skills, perfect making fires, cook over the fire, and sit around the fire getting to know each other better. The church is supposed to be family. Not just friends. Not just computer profiles.
It's also a time to get more sunshine and fresh air and exercise, and to escape our normal routines. It's wonderful!
Even if we don't have any local brothers & sisters to share the Fiesta with, and if we have to go camping alone, it's still a great escape and time to relax and to draw closer to Jesus, and to seek His Voice.
Zech. 14 is very clear that after Jesus returns, He will FORCE all nations, including gentiles to keep the Fiesta. If He is going to force it after His Return, and they kept the Fiesta in the bible, then it's common sense that we must be obeying Jesus in the Fiesta now!
We shouldn't allow fear to prevent us from obeying Jesus. Obeying Jesus requires FAITH. So we shouldn't allow fear of spiders or other things related to camping to prevent us from obedience. We shouldn't be too prideful to lay on the ground. We could also buy blow up air mattresses or foam pads. There shouldn't be any excuse to not go camping.
At last resort, if nothing else is possible, we should try to camp in our yard or at a friend's yard or relative's yard. ANYTHING in order to keep the commandments. We should seek a way to be obedient. And if we seek a way, HE will make the way!
