If just believing in Jesus as your Saviour was truly enough and all that was required, then I don't understand why those same Sun-day churches that claim that just believing is enough, require their members to go to church 52-104+ times per year.
It only takes one sermon to say that all you must do is to just believe. The rest is all in vain if you don't need to repent, grow in truth, grow in knowledge or grow in righteousness.
Their own additional sermons and additional attendance requirements prove the foolishness of their belief!
My landlord believes in the doctrine of "Just Believe" and also in "Once Saved Always Saved". Yet he admits that the Catholics are not true Christians but rather pagan idolators that won't make it to Heaven. Yet those Catholics believe in Jesus as their Saviour and they have said the so called prayer of salvation. So his admission about Catholics proves his "Just Believe" doctrine wrong!
Matthew 7 21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
