Oct. 1, 2022 (6th day of 7th biblical month)
Matt. 24:12 Because transgression of the law will increase, most people's love will grow cold. (KJV wax = increase.)
:13 But, the person who abides/endures/perseveres (in Jesus) to the end, that person will be saved.
Matt. 22:33-40 All of the law is based on love.
Love God and loving other people.
KJV "On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets."
AOB: On these two commandments depend the whole law and the prophets".
The word "hang" in the KJV is not referring to destruction or death. But rather preservation!
Context shows the need to keep the law. Not destroy it.
People not obeying God's laws is the problem, not the solution.
"J.O.Y."= Jesus first, (1st commandment, and first 4 commandments.)
O = Others next. (Other 6 commandments of the big 10.)
Y= Yourself last.
The great falling away is not just forsaking God and the truth, but also forsaking the true church members and true pastor.
When a person does either one, they forsake both.
You can't forsake God without also forsaking the church members.
You can't forsake church members without also forsaking Jesus. Matt. 25:33-46
Compare to 2 Thes. 2:3, The great falling away,
and to Heb. 10:23-39 The forsaking of the church members.
This includes not attending worship services (services can be online, that's acceptable), but it also includes forsaking church members, not participating in our groups, not emailing, not texting, not calling, ignoring the pastor or other members.
People don't realize that when they get saved/baptized, they are not just having their sins forgiven, but also they are actually, literally, joining the church.
They are born again into a new family, with new brothers & sisters.
Participating in church groups is not just about your obedience to the law & requirements.
But also about helping each other, supporting, encouraging each other.
If we live in the same nation, we should be calling/texting each other, or at least using MeWe, Telegram, WhatsApp or email to stay in communication with each other, not only with the pastor, but also with other members.
People in other nations can use such groups or email, even if they can't text or call.
Matt. 5:40-42 When someone asks you to do something, you should do that, and more.
When someone asks you to call and text someone who is in need to talk to someone, then that's what you should do.
Matt. 16:24-28 Deny yourself and take up your cross.
Some people's mentality is that they will improve their health by ignoring all of their brothers and sisters.
Such people don't consider anyone else's needs, but just only their own needs.
I've known many people with bad hearts, heart attacks, major heart surgeries, extreme cancer, etc, and those people were still able to pick up a phone!
They were still able to call their family!
Especially if they were asked to help someone in need!
