Pay Monthly Membership AAA Travelers Assistance Club
In the USA, (maybe Canada too) we have AAA motor club, a traveler's assistance company, to provide free towing and other roadside assistance in case the car is disabled on the side of the road, or if a person gets locked out of their car, or needs to change a tire or need emergency gasoline. Many people do not pay the membership fee to join because it's expensive to purchase an entire year's membership with one large payment. However, Today I discovered that they now allow for a low monthly payment! I was able to join their PREMIER membership, the highest level of protection, for only $10.50 per month! This allows for free towing for 200 miles! Or I can use it for 3 free towings for much shorter distances. Plus, you get free maps, and hotel discounts. I am not sure if they offer the monthly payment on lower memberships. Probably do. Worth a try. This is good insurance for peace of mind. Your protection even works when you are traveling in some one else's car! So if you are with your mom, dad, brother, sister OR just a friend, and their car breaks down, then you can call and get their car towed to a mechanic or to their house or anywhere they want for free. Plus the tow truck can give you a ride to drop you off somewhere on the way to the mechanic. They even help with emergency shelter if you break down out of town.

Unfortunately, the sermon was not successfully recorded this past weekend due to TalkShoe maintenance.
So here are my sermon notes for those who were not able to listen live.
"Who Are You?"
Upon who/where/what is your identity based upon?
I remember a movie based upon a true story. A young man, actually teenager, played football. It was his entire life. But suddenly he went blind and had to stop playing football. His life ended.
But then the football coach told him that he should continue to play football. He would have to play a different position. He would have to work hard at learning how to play football as a blind man, but it wasn't impossible. The young man thought about this and suddenly realized who he was. He was Travis Trent, a football player. That's who he was and what he did. So in the middle of the night, upon this realization, he ran into his parents room shouting "Mom, Dad, I'm Travis Trent!" "I'm Travis Tent!".
It was inspiring, but if we really think about it, it's also sad because a few years later, he would be too old to play football, and then what? Some people base their identity on sports, football, baseball, basketball, soccer, etc. But then they get too old to play games. One of these days, all sports balls, the football, baseball and other sports equipment will burn. Everything fleshly in this world will burn and be gone. Then what? The only thing left will be who they really are in their soul. IS our identity all wrapped up in something that some day will be gone?
Other people identify themselves by their sexuality such as homosexuals, others their race or color such as "African American" "Native American Indian", "or perhaps upon witchcraft and they identify as "pagans". Or upon music, business, career, job, money, family, spouse, cars, etc. But one day all of that will be gone.
WHO ARE YOU?
To come to understand who you were born to be and who you must become, let's first examine in the bible how GOD changed people's names, and how names reflect who people are in GOD.
Gen.17:1-5 Abram="exalted father". Abraham= "father of many nations, or of multitudes". This was a greater blessing & his destiny.
Gen.32:24-32 Jacob= "he who takes by the heel of the foot". Israel="He who strives with JEsus". He wrestled on the ground, with a physical manifestation of Jesus. He even limped afterward. We need to grab hold of GOD and not let go until we get what we need from HIM spiritually.
Numbers 13:16 Joshua actually originally was "Oshea" and was renamed "JEHoshea". There is no such thing as "shua" at the end of a name in Paleo-Hebrew.
1 Tim.1:1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ. His name was originally "Saul". But then GOD changed his name based upon his new identity in Christ. And he was not too fearful to claim who he really was in Jesus. He did not fear using a title or the authority that Jesus gave him. He openly and publicly and boldly proclaimed who he was and what his identify was based upon. His identity was fully in Jesus.
2 Peter 2:5 Noah ="Preacher of Righteousness".
James 2:23 Abraham was also called "friend of GOD".
John 15:14-15 we are no longer called slaves or servants IF IF IF IF we DO DO DO DO what HE COMMANDS COMMANDS COMMANDS COMMANDS. Salvation is conditional. There are if's, and do's, and don'ts, & requirements of obedience. We should seek to be a true FRIEND of GOD. That's his will. That's what HE wants and seeks in us.
1 John 3:1-10 We are called "The Children of GOD"! We are his family and daughters and sons. That's an extremely high calling and we should act like we are his, and recognize that, and claim it, and be it. Our identity shouldn't be based upon sinking sand, worldly things, people, humans, spouses, people, cars, money, sports, etc because one of these days, these people and these things will be GONE! Then it will only be you and Jesus looking at each other on your Judgement Day. How will that go?
1 Peter 2 Entire Chapter. We are meant to be kings and priests, and HOLY people. A people who previously were not a people, but now we are a people.
Rev.7:9-14 "Great Multitude". John asked "who are these". These people's identity was based upon their salvation in Jesus. These are the people who came through the time of greatest tribulation that ever existed. Proof solid against pre-trib rapture!
Mark 12:18-27 After we are turned to spirit, we will no longer be married to any human, but only to Jesus. Are you the widow of a corpse? A widower of a corpse? Did your identity die with your spouse? The responsibility of every husband is to point his women/congregation to Christ. He will no longer be there for them some day. Men usually die before women. He might also be called away to war. In the resurrection and on Judgment day, the husband and wife will NOT stand beside each other. Each person will be held accountable for who they are, what they have done, what fruits they have gained, or not gained. What will be our record? What will Jesus call us? Faithful friend? servant? slave? "I did not know you, depart from me you lawless one?"
Will we be called goats or sheep? Which side do we stand?
1 Cor.6:12-20 We are NOT our own. We belong to GOD. Our soul, our breath, our flesh, it all belongs to GOD. HE created us for a specific purpose. He wanted us. He chose to create us and to give us our birth name.
But the devil kidnapped us and the world. The devil led us astray, away from our original purpose. We got side tract and was programmed to identity ourselves by sports, cars, careers, people, race, nationality, money, colors, etc. But we must be re-born and become a new creation in Christ Jesus and be reconciled unto GOD Almighty and receive a NEW name. We MUST be renamed. If we are not renamed, like Abraham, Jacob and Paul was, we will NOT inherit the Kingdom!
John 1:19-23 They asked John the Baptizer, "who are you?" His answer was that his identity was in Christ, and what his purpose was.
Isa.62 Entire chapter.
Rev.2:17 and 3:12 We MUST receive a new name. A spiritual passport in our soul. It's not a literal stone or piece of paper. But it's who we are in the spirit, and our new name will be in the spirit. We also shall spiritually be a "pillar" or "column" in the spiritual building of the church which is the Kingdom. The Kingdom is now. The Kingdom is inside of you. You are meant to be a member of the spiritual building of the Kingdom, a priest, a king, a queen, am important pillar/column that holds up the roof of the building. You are important to GOD. You are NOT worthless trash like the Babylonian false church wants you to claim to be. DON'T stand up and say that you're worthless! But stand up and say "I AM The Body of Christ Jesus"!
HE breathed into our flesh and we became a living soul/spirit. He resides inside of us. If we understand and claim our true identity, then we CAN do the same miracles that Jesus did, and greater! We are the Body of Christ, the bride of Christ, the people of Christ, the nation, the Kingdom, the Government, the Ambassadors of The Kingdom/Government/Nation of GOD Almighty JESUS ALPHA & OMEGA, and there shall be NO end to our Kingdom! Amen.
Upcoming Holy Days
Remember that Sept.21 Thursday, will be Fiesta of Trumpets. Commanded rest day and worship day.
Sept.30 is the Day of Atonement from sunrise to sunrise Oct. 1.
But we are instructed in the bible to start fasting at sunset on the previous day. So we will fast Sept.29 at sunset until Sept.30 at sunset. Some people drink water. And some people do not. Personally I do drink only water. It is 100% certain that we must abstain from everything except the possibility of water. IF you take medicines that you CANNOT skip just one day, then you can take your medicines and water. We MUST make a very strong, firm effort to fast from ALL food regardless of how weak we get, regardless of stomach ache, regardless of headache. If your body cannot handle a little 24 hour fast, then you should be preparing and training your body NOW to be able to handle it on Sept.29-30! This is NOT a "if you want to" thing. There is a very strong curse in the bible upon anyone who refuses to obey this fast. We should be more fearful of losing our salvation for disobedience, than we should of getting physically sick. We must master our bodies and be able to obey GOD for a little 24 hours! If not, then start training now! Be a person of FAITH and Commitment to Jesus.
We will not work from sunset Sept.29 until sunrise Oct. 1.
We will have services Sept.21 and Sept. 30.
